About this itinerary

The most sacred pilgrimage in Shaivite tradition — all twelve self-manifested Jyotirlingas across eight Indian states. A beautifully paced 15-day darshan circuit with priest-assisted entries and hand-picked pilgrim hotels.

From Somnath on the Arabian Sea to Rameshwaram at India's tip, Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi to Kedarnath in the Himalayas — the twelve Jyotirlingas are places where Lord Shiva is believed to be eternally present as a column of light.

Every darshan is coordinated with temple authorities, every hotel is walking distance from the temple gates.

    N°04

    Mahakaleshwar, Ujjain

Attend the pre-dawn Bhasma Aarti (subject to booking) at Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and visit Kal Bhairav and Harsiddhi temples.

  6. Day 06
    N°06

    Trimbakeshwar, Nashik

Travel to the holy town of Nashik for darshan at Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, set at the foot of the Brahmagiri hills from which the sacred Godavari river rises. This unique shrine, with its three-faced lingam representing Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, is among the most revered of all twelve, and time is allowed for a peaceful temple-tank visit.

  7. Day 07
    N°07

    Grishneshwar & Ellora

Proceed to Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga, the last of the twelve, an exquisitely carved temple near Aurangabad. With its proximity to the magnificent rock-cut UNESCO Ellora Caves, an optional heritage stop lets you marvel at the colossal Kailasa temple hewn from a single rock — a fitting blend of devotion and artistry.

  8. Day 08
    N°08

    Bhimashankar

Journey through the lush, forested Sahyadri ranges to Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, dramatically set within a wildlife sanctuary that is the source of the Bhima river. The cool, green Western Ghats setting and the ancient Nagara-style temple make this one of the most serene and scenic stops on the parikrama.

  9. Day 09
    N°09

    Travel to Srisailam

A long, scenic transfer toward the Nallamala forest hills of Andhra Pradesh, descending through the Deccan plateau. Comfortable transport, en-route meals and a restful overnight halt are arranged so the journey itself becomes part of the pilgrimage's quiet contemplation.

  10. Day 10
    N°10

    Mallikarjuna, Srisailam

Darshan at Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga on the banks of the Krishna — both a Jyotirlinga and a Shakti Peeth.
