Everyone has walked the Triangle. Few have walked it without a flag. We hold the dawn Taj slot, a car that does not rush the Yamuna, and rooms inside the old cities.

Arrive. A quiet hotel and a first walk in a neighbourhood, not a monument.

Humayun or Qutub, then Old Delhi by cycle-rickshaw and a table that is already yours.

The expressway, a sunset at Mehtab Bagh, dinner facing the river.

The monument before the heat. Agra Fort, then the road toward Jaipur.
