Sikkim is India's smallest Himalayan state but arguably its most magical — a kingdom until 1975, blending Tibetan Buddhism, Sikkimese hospitality and jaw-dropping geography.
Our package covers Gangtok's monasteries, the glacial Tsomgo Lake, Baba Harbhajan Mandir, and (subject to permits) Nathula Pass at 14,000 ft.

The itinerary

Day 01
N°01Arrival in Gangtok
Arrive at Bagdogra / NJP and drive up through pine forests to Gangtok. Check in to a Himalayan heritage stay and spend the evening strolling the lively, pedestrian-only MG Marg.

Day 02
N°02Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
With permits arranged, drive to the glacial Tsomgo (Changu) Lake at 12,400 ft and the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Enjoy yak rides and snow views before returning to Gangtok.

Day 03
N°03Nathula Pass Excursion
Ascend to the historic Nathula Pass on the Indo-China border (subject to permits and weather) for a once-in-a-lifetime high-altitude experience, then descend for the evening at leisure.

Day 04
N°04Gangtok to Lachung
Scenic full-day drive north to Lachung through waterfalls and gorges along the Teesta. Overnight in a cosy mountain lodge.

Day 05
N°05Yumthang Valley of Flowers
Early excursion to the Yumthang Valley of Flowers and the hot springs, surrounded by rhododendron meadows and snow peaks. Return to Gangtok by evening.

N°06Rumtek Monastery & Departure
A private morning visit to the magnificent Rumtek Monastery, seat of the Karmapa, before your descent to Bagdogra / NJP for your onward journey.
