The itinerary
6 days, written slowly.
-
Day 01
N°01Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu — Indian nationals enjoy visa-free entry — where you are met and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, wandering the buzzing, prayer-flag-draped lanes of Thamel, browsing for Himalayan handicrafts and singing bowls, and easing into the relaxed rhythm of the Nepali capital.
-
Day 02
N°02Kathmandu Valley Heritage
A full day among UNESCO World Heritage treasures: the intricately carved temples and palaces of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the hilltop Swayambhunath stupa (the 'Monkey Temple') with its all-seeing eyes and valley views, and the deeply sacred Pashupatinath temple complex on the banks of the Bagmati, where evening aarti fills the air with devotion.
-
Day 03
N°03Scenic Flight to Pokhara
A short, spectacular domestic flight (Himalayan views on a clear day) brings you to the lakeside town of Pokhara. The afternoon unfolds gently with a hand-rowed boat ride across the mirror-still Phewa Lake to the island Tal Barahi temple, followed by a golden sunset over the Annapurna range from the lakeside promenade.
-
Day 04
N°04Sarangkot Sunrise & Caves
Rise before dawn for the drive up to Sarangkot, where the first light sets the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks ablaze in pink and gold — one of the Himalaya's great sunrises. Returning, explore Davis Falls, the mysterious Gupteshwor Mahadev cave and the serene World Peace Pagoda perched above the lake.
-
Day 05
N°05Pokhara to Nagarkot
After a relaxed morning, journey back across the Kathmandu valley and up to the ridge-top resort village of Nagarkot, famed for its panoramic Himalayan horizon. Settle into your hotel and enjoy a tranquil evening watching the snow peaks turn amber as the sun dips behind them.
-
Day 06
N°06Everest Dawn & Departure
Wake for the Nagarkot sunrise, when on a clear morning the distant pyramid of Everest joins the unfolding Himalayan panorama — a fitting farewell. After breakfast, descend to Kathmandu and transfer to the airport for your onward flight, carrying mountain memories home.
