The house · Est. 2000
A letter from Bhubaneswar
Twenty-five years of journeys, written by hand.
A family atelier of travel designers — Odisha, India and the world, planned from one desk on Janpath.
Since
2000
Our story
A handful of maps, a lifetime of wanderlust
Service with a helping smile.
It began with a single desk, a rotary phone and a clear mission — to make travel across India feel warm, organised and proud. Twenty-five years later we still answer our phones personally, still hand-pick every driver and guide, and still consider every traveller a friend of the house.
Today forty travel designers work across three continents. The ethic is unchanged: itineraries written for your dates, never templated, arranged from Janpath.
- Listen to the dates and the names
- Compose the route, hotels and darshan
- Hand the passport back, journey ready
Mission & vision
Why we still keep the lights on
Design with depth, not distance.
N°01
Human-authored travel
Thoughtful journeys that honour culture, landscape and people — turning ordinary trips into stories worth retelling.
- Depth over distance
- Local guides, named
- Every rupee transparent
N°02
India’s private atelier
A house where a weekend in Puri and a month in Europe receive the same unhurried care, detail and warmth.
- 50,000 journeys by 2030
- Every region of India
- A carbon-conscious desk
Why the house
Six quiet reasons travellers return
We do not compete on the loudest discount. We compete on craft, care and the small details that make a holiday feel effortless.
Twenty-five years of craft
A quarter-century designing journeys — the kind of memory no algorithm can replicate.
A planner, not a call centre
Every traveller is paired with a dedicated senior designer. No bots. No scripts.
Zero hidden costs
Transparent INR pricing, GST invoices, itemised inclusions — always.
On the ground, everywhere
Hand-picked partners across 40+ destinations. Concierge on the road, 24×7.
Curated, never packaged
No cookie-cutter tours. Every itinerary is authored for your pace and taste.
18,000 letters home

What we believe
Four pillars of the house
Hospitality first
Every traveller is greeted as family — never a booking reference.
Craft over scale
Fewer, more detailed journeys. Quality over quantity, always.
Trust, in writing
No hidden costs. No surprise upsells. GST on every invoice.
Local & responsible
Community-run stays and named guides whenever the route allows.
Private desk
Tell us the dates. We write the rest.
A planner replies within 24 hours — usually with a first itinerary, never a brochure.
