The 13th-century Sun Temple at Konark is a UNESCO marvel — a colossal stone chariot with twenty-four intricately carved wheels, seven galloping horses and some of the most intricate stone work ever chiselled in India.
Often called the 'Black Pagoda' for its dark patina, the Sun Temple at Konark is imagined as the chariot of Surya drawn by seven horses representing the days of the week — its wheels functioning as accurate sundials. Our heritage walk is led by an ASI-certified historian.
Beyond the monument, Konark reveals a quieter coastal soul — the tranquil Chandrabhaga Beach at sunrise and the annual Konark Dance Festival that turns the temple's stone walls into a cultural backdrop.

Day 01
N°01Arrival & Sun Temple Heritage Walk
Arrive in Konark and check in to your boutique heritage stay. Set out with an ASI-certified historian for an unhurried walkthrough of the 13th-century UNESCO Sun Temple — its 24 sundial wheels and seven stone horses — and visit the Konark Archaeological Museum. The evening features a classical Odissi performance.

N°02Chandrabhaga Sunrise & Departure
Drive 3 km to Chandrabhaga Beach for a serene sunrise before breakfast. After a final temple photo-stop, you are transferred onward — memories of the Black Pagoda packed to last a lifetime.
