DAY 01: Arrival Guwahati – Shillong
In the morning, we’ll take off to the capital of Meghalayain Meghalaya – Shillong which is also known by the name of Scotland of the East. While traveling towards Shillong it is possible to stop by Umiam Lake. Umiam Lake, which is located 15 km prior Meghalaya’s capital, Meghalaya. The clear, blue lake has a size of 220 square kilometers and is surrounded by stunning hills. The lake is also a symbol of the stunning beautiful state, which you’ll be able to discover in the these next few days.
In the summer months, the Lake looked vibrant and lush with the Gulmohar Trees (Delonix regia) in full bloom. The Lake popularly referred to by the name of Barapani is the perfect spot to picnic and enjoy outings. If you’re traveling with family members, then to the Nehru Park will be perfect spot to spend a some time in excitement, taking motorboat ride and other fun.
Continue driving until Shillong. When you arrive, check into Shillong Hotel. Shillong. In the evening, take a stroll around the local area. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 02: Shillong – Cherrapunjee
After a breakfast early, head to Cherrapunjee which is only 65kms from Shillong. It is the most wettest place in the world. On the way to Cherrapunjee you’ll see roaring waterfalls descending into awe-inspiring ravines. After arriving, check into the hotel.
After a fresh start, go to the famed Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkalikai fall, Mawsmai Cave. Then, in the evening, return to the hotel for a night’s stay.
Cherrapunjee is officially called Sohra It is located 56 kms away from Shillong It is an “must see” destination for everyone who visits. It is also known as the wettest area on earth, with the highest amount of rainfall. Cherrapunjee was the capital of the Khasi and Jaintia province under British rule, before being moved the city to Shillong in 1864. The reason for this was due to the difficulties caused by the excessive rainfall during monsoon season. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 03: Cherrapunjee
After a breakfast that is early, we’ll embark on an excursion with a guide to see the double decker of living Routes Bridge, the most impressive of all living bridges throughout the world. The journey from the resort should take approximately 05 hours.
The view of the area is simply stunning. You’ll be amazed climbing over the roots that may be a bit scary at beginning but once you get started you’ll end with enthusiasm. The beautiful forest around the beautiful sound of waterfalls will offer an entirely different experience, with the hypnotic sensation. You will experience the warmness that comes from Mother Nature being somewhere near to Nature Gods Home.
Return to the resort to relax and enjoy the tranquil evening before a ride to relieve fatigue. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 04: Cherrapunjee– Mawllynnong – Dwaki – Shillong
The first thing in the morning we’ll go to the most clean community (Mawllynnong) situated in India that is about 80kms from Cherrapunjee and is located within the beautiful villages. There are some interesting sights such as the living root bridge, as well as a stunning the boulder resting on another. Then we’ll head to Dwaki (Mawlynnong Mawlynnong – Dwaki 35 kms, 1.30 hrs). The full day’s sight seeing and return towards Shillong (Dwaki from Shillong85 km 3 hours). Stay for the night in Shillong. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 05: Shillong Local Sightseeing- Guwahati
After breakfast, enjoy a local walking tour around Shillong”Scotland of the East’. We will visit Cathedral Church, Lady Hydari Park and the Orchidarium, Elephant Falls 7 the golf course. After that, we’ll travel to Guwahati. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 06: Guwahati Local and Drop
In the morning, after breakfast, go to the Maa Kamakhya temple and drop the airport.

Advance 50% payment to book your seat
100% balance payment at least 30 days before the commencement of tour
Refund policy in case of cancellation:
80% of total cost if cancelled 60 days or more before the commencement of tour
50% of total cost if cancelled 30 days to 59 days before the commencement of tour
20% of total cost if cancelled 16 days to 29 days before the commencement of tour
No refund if cancelled 15 days or lesser before the commencement of tour

- The above rates are based on minimum 2 persons travelling together.
- Child below 12 years can share the bed with the parents with an extra cost.
- Airfares may change without any notice at any time during the validity of the package.

- Weekend surcharge may be applicable if any.
- Hotel check in time is 1200 hours, check out time is 1100 hours. Early check in / late checks out is subject to availability of rooms.
